I'm working for the Group Finance Division, within the Revenue team. My main tasks are line managing 5 members of staff, overseeing the efficient processing of all bank statements, card payments, UK and Foreign Cheques, the reconciliation of control accounts; and others. I also do some investigative work when necessary, maintain KPI's updated, generate Month End reports, Logic Checks, suggest and provide support on process improvements, and others.
I've started to work for Cambridge Assessment at DC10, in May 2017 and then worked my way through all business streams: - first as Administrator within 'CAIE' and 'OCR', then as Marketing Projects Coordinator within 'Cambridge English' and finally as Senior Cashier in 'CSD'. I've then got promoted at 18/03/2019 to my current role as Assistant Manager.
Along the way, I became very familiar with all the company's products and services, as well its various work procedures and management systems, such as: RM Assessor, ESM, EPS, Zendesk, SAP, and others, added to my prior knowledge of Excel, Word & Power Point.

I successfully helped with the opening of a South Korean company in Brazil, from the construction industry sector, and become part of one of the biggest Steel Making factory built in South America, an investment over 5 billion dollars.

I was responsible for all administration and accounting work; direct contact with suppliers and banks; reconciliation of bank statements and ledger accounts; prepare & process journals; tax calculation; payments/invoicing; cost control and analysis; salaries processing; general paperwork about Health and Safety; and Labour Union negotiations.

HOTEL  MANAGER

I was invited to re-open a small 'Boutique Hotel' in Ceara, Fortaleza (Brazil), after a long non operating period, having been recognized after a few months by Trip Advisor and Booking.Com as one of the best tourism Lodges of the region.

Here I managed all departments of the hotel, helping coordinate all operations (sales/ reservations, marketing/advertising, reception, human resources, finance/management accounts, maintenance and housekeeping); direct contact with suppliers, tour operators and agencies; and special attention to quality control and customer service.

Because of my success, the company invited me to work as a Consultant, after informing them about my decision to work for another company.  So for a period of one year and half I managed to work both jobs, in the hotel as a Consultant and in DEA WOONG as Operations & Finance Manager.

Here I coordinated and managed a total of 9 catering sites (1 restaurant, 2 self-service/cafeterias, and 6 coffee shops), all inside the International Airport of Lisbon, controlling sales and stocks of each site; making monthly inventories; managing expenses and costs according with the available budget; making direct orders with the suppliers; invoicing; HR duties; organizing coffee-breaks, cocktails and other events (functions) for internal and external companies; product quality control (HACCP); Labour Union negotiations; and customer service.

Managing Duty-Free shops, inside NATO military facilities, performing daily manager duties, such as: stocking, sales, ordering, running costs and expenses, clearing 'Customs' documentation, recruiting and leading small teams, and some other HR tasks. 

During this experience I helped open new stores for the company and gave training to new arrived managers. Due to my good performance running those duty-free shops, I was also invited to manage/supervise a Pizzeria.
